What is the problem with
those yellow foggy headlights?
Polycarbonate plastic is used because of its tensile
strength and the ability to be manufactured to conform to the front end
styling of a vehicle. Although it's a very hard plastic, it's also very
porous so during manufacturing a protective silicone hard coat is applied to
the headlight lens. This silicone hard coat is supposed to protect the
headlight lens from intense sun, heat, road chemicals, bugs, humidity and
acid rain, etc. But these
elements, combined with
the heat of the halogen bulb damages the protective hard coat to the point
that a ugly discolored, cloudy, hazy appearance develops on the lenses. This
damage will restrict the headlights ability to project its beam of light at
night, and during adverse weather conditions, may diminish the ability to see
by as much as 70%.
How to clean cloudy headlight lenses
with our headlight lens
restorer.
The Solution
Our do it yourself headlight restoration system is not a
plastic polish or a wax, & electric buffers are not needed. It's a 3 step
process that will remove the damaged oxidized plastic to restore clarity and
optical qualities to your headlight lens. You then resurface them with our
advanced formula that will adhere to polycarbonate and acrylic plastic,
restoring the clarity that you need for a safe driving experience.
When you account for how much better your vehicle will
look, the increased resale value, and taking care of a dangerous safety
issue, why would you do anything but get the problem fixed immediately.
Replacing just one headlight assembly can
cost hundreds of dollars!!
